South Australia 2001
I returned to the beaches at South Australia in January 2002.
Richo, Reusy, Chris, Shane, Deb1 and Deb2 headed over for
some fun in the sun and some beach riding.
Caught myself a ~6 lb mulloway. Proud as punch. Fishing from the motorbike base camp about 3-4km from the main beach entrance.
This was the day after Richo and Reusy had to leave... they failed to catch anything, and on one ambitious expedition, almost failed to find the beach altogether! They got lost in the dunes, and ended up giving up on one of them, unable to see anything but more dunes in all directions - they made things better by sitting on the heavy two man esky they fortunately brought with them, and had a cold one. A great image.
